Become part of Arrowhead High School history as you honor a man who helped shape AHS athletics and activities through his strong work ethic and moral guidance. The Geoff Steinbach Scholarships, established by Geoff’s family upon his retirement as AHS athletic director in 2008, annually recognize two-sport athletes who embody the character, dedication, and commitment to service that Geoff instilled in so many of his students.

Bryan and Erica Schultz generously pledged to match donations to the Geoff Steinbach Scholarships during our fundraising campaign in 2020/2021. The Schultz family carried through on their promise, contributing $50,000 in matching funds to ensure the scholarships can continue to honor Arrowhead High School scholar-athletes long into the future.

Under Coach Steinbach's direction and encouragement, Bryan became a four-time state-champion track athlete while attending Waukesha North High School. He went on to compete at Stanford University as a member of the football and track teams. Bryan credits "Coach" with his life's success and enthusiastically supports Arrowhead scholar-athletes in reaching their education goals through the Geoff Steinbach Scholarships. We are grateful for Bryan and Erica's generosity!

The Geoff Steinbach Scholarship Endowment Fund will honor AHS scholar-athletes for many years to come. We welcome your donations to the fund in any amount!

Retired AHS athletic director and current coach Geoff Steinbach has dedicated his professional life to making a positive difference for kids through education and organized activities. As athletic director, coach and mentor, Geoff impacted thousands of students and imparted on them strong values that reached far beyond the boundaries of the sports field and classroom. Remember Geoff’s “prom video” that went viral?

Geoff created high-level opportunities for a large majority of our students through interscholastic sports and intramural activities. He strived to develop a strong, positive reputation for AHS athletics by encouraging hard work and dedication of our coaches, athletes and families. As program coordinator for the Arrowhead Citizenship Initiative, Geoff directed and facilitated community-wide workshops to establish an expectation for volunteerism and service that still exists today. Geoff was the first president of the Classic 8 Conference and, in that role, he established the Conference Sportsmanship Initiative. He remains active in the Arrowhead community as kicking coach for our varsity football team and as assistant boys’ track coach.

Help us honor Coach Steinbach and our well-rounded scholar-athletes with your donation today.

A letter from Geoff Steinbach:
Arrowhead is a uniquely special place

Throughout my career in education I have been blessed to work at several wonderful school districts with outstanding professional educators and with families and students who really cared about their school and communities.

Arrowhead is a uniquely special place and it has been my honor and privilege to have been at Arrowhead in numerous capacities since 1994. I say Arrowhead is a “Special Place” because we have a unique contribution from many separate communities, who over the years, have accepted and welcomed the challenge to provide a truly comprehensive educational structure for all of our students coupled with the intent that we strive to be the best we can become.

This mission and sense of purpose is brought to life by the administrative, teaching, coaching and advising staff at Arrowhead. This is blended with the vast majority of our families who make the important choice to take advantage of the opportunities that are offered. Our students have accepted the responsibility to choose to get involved as their spirit comes to life in our classrooms, and all of our extracurricular and sport programs.

It is that vibrant spirit upon which we can all grow. It is that spirit that helps us offer “Something for Everyone” and we are all a part of the “A-One Team” concept. It is that spirit of Arrowhead that my family and I have chosen to recognize as we offer our annual scholarship to seniors who have worked to make Arrowhead a special place.
